Please can someone help?A few months ago I bought a TM-5402 M3 and I'm desperately unhappy with the picture quality.There is a very strong bias to Purple & Mauve at the cost of all other colours. Everything looks totally unnatural.!!I've tried hard to breath some warmth into the picture quality by adjusting all the controls on my TM-5402 M3 and TV.
But I'm not really getting anywhere.I cant help feeling there is a problem with this 5402 m3 because if I reduce saturation to a minimum I do not get a monochrome picture as one would normally expect.But the red areas are still red. And blue areas are still blue.!!This is my 5th Technomate receiver and this problem is grossly out of kilter with all my previous receivers.
I can switch between different receivers on the same connection and see it live.I wonder if anyone out there with a TM-5402 M3 would be kind enough to try their Saturation level at minimum and see if they have any colours still showing.???I would be so very grateful.

Hi to allive read all the stuff about using ccams on the tm 5402 ive installed all the software patch number 116 and the addon fileeven added the cline to the box protocol is cccam active is on but the status is disconnected im i missing something else? If i press the sat button while in the server list it uploads no problem at allive given up all hope now!!! Please help!!thanks in advancehow did you add your line?

Thanks for quick and brief reply but the thing is i had tm500s befor and i updated the firmeware through the box and after update all pay for view channels was scrambled and i had to take it to the person i got it from to get it working and he charged me?20 for that to get it working.friend of mine have a tm5402 box and recently he just pressed on fectory reset and after that his all pay to view channels were scrambled and he had to take the box to suplier to get it working.so that is the reason i am concerned.
The box i got tm5402 does not have a card in and in 8281 i can see a cccam connected.so i was thinking if there is a way i can save a cccam details and copy they over after patching? Sorry if its been asked before. Im new to the tm range,have always been a stalwart dm person.have tried conecting to dcc but it keeps saying login fail.have changed the password to root from dreambox.cant seem to see the c.line otherwise, i want to take it out and put a new one in.but without going through dcc i dont know how?i dont want to reflash the box and start again.is there any other way i can view via dcc.have managed to look at the box via internet browser and it says the user is root and pasword is root, but when i do this on dcc it does not connect.sorry should have said its a tm 500 that i am trying to sort out. Hi all, just a quick question I have installed the addon file and everything is apparently working fine, what I would like to know is what kind of cccam am I using? I have been ask this question and I haven't got a clue where to look for this kind of information. Many thanksthat would be cccam 2.0.11 and if they say to change it,well you can't.And 2.0.11 works perfect anyway with most servers,if it doesn't work for you it will be more then likely a bad server or you will have to stay/goto an older patch like 117 for some reason newer patches don't clear some providers very well.:rolleyes. I have been asked this and really I haven't got a clue. I navigate all the TM menu but I can't find anything that looks close to this.

Many thanks in advancethese numbers have nothing to do with ecm timesthese a ecmpids that will help your tm connect faster to the server if you put in the right one you will find this out by trial and error if you find the right one for the one provider then they will be the same for the rest of the channels of that provider.As said before you can't see ecm time on the non linux tm's anywhere,if you had a linux box you could see them and they would be different all the time and it would be an actual timethat it takes for your box to get the keys from the card that the server would use. Could you explain how on older version of the software makes cs more stable? I am a newby to all this and had the techno for 1 week and been trying cs for the first time ever.
Twice now the channel and whole box has frozen, in the first two days, after watching for some hours. Could this be to do with the software? As you know with these things. There are so many variables and i was thinking it was more the box at fault.

Or could it be the server? Before trying cs. The box had been working perfect in general use for fta channels. I installed the latest phantom, p124, but you're saying 117 would be better? I have followed all instructions but i still cant get it to work,i have installed the phantom patch as well as the addon but still cant get the c-line to connect it still says disconnected.
